You log in using your NemID. Then you can choose who you wish to receive mail from. This may be your bank, insurance company or municipality. You will get an e-mail alert when new mail arrives. It couldn't be much easier.

Banks, insurance companies, public authorities, etc. issue mails through e-Boks. This does not only benefit you, but also the very environment.
That many mails was issued by companies and public authorities towards its users during 2015.
You can safely file your important papers and documents in e-Boks, which is like your own online safe deposit box. You can file everything from the deeds of your home and birth certificates, to photos of your valuables for insurance purposes. You can save up to 1 GB, and you can always purchase more space if you need it.
